The Belize High Commission is pleased to report that as a result of its post-hurricane relief appeal to the Belizean Diaspora in the UK and in the Middle East – with the annual Independence Day Celebrations event giving specific focus to donations – the High Commission was able to raise £13,495.05 (approximately BZD $35,246.00) for the benefit of hurricane victims. These funds were transferred to NEMO Belize.
