On 9 January 2019 the Prime Minister of Belize, the Rt. Hon. Dean Barrow, along with former Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Said Musa and other former foreign ministers of Belize, gathered for the historic signing of a joint declaration to support the submission of Guatemala’s territorial claim to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for final resolution.
