The Belize Training and Employment Centre (BTEC), a unit of BELTRAIDE, and leader in workforce development and value-based programmes, will be celebrating its fifth anniversary on October 7th, 2019. BTEC has been instrumental in developing a cadre of well-trained, marketable and self-sufficient individuals who are able to compete in the marketplace.
Since its inception on October 6th, 2014, BTEC has trained a total of 1,600 persons in job preparedness trainings in various industries across Belize; of which 74% are currently employed. Additionally, the centre has executed professional development workshops through partnerships with both the public and private sector to 1,745 employees. As one of Belize’s leading industry specific training centres, BTEC continues to operate at the highest standards of professionalism, and remains at the forefront of the ever-growing market, continually meeting its demands.
To celebrate its 5 years of accomplishments, there will be a short ceremony on October 7th at 2:00 pm at the BTEC office on the ITVET Compound, Freetown Road, Belize City.
