These products are unauthorized and pose a significant risk to patient health and wellness. The claims being advertised for these products may prevent patients from seeking medical treatment which can lead to life-threatening harm.
The Ministry has issued a warning letter for unauthorized products that are being advertised to treat or cure COVID-19.
The Ministry encourages the public to report any suspicious product claiming to treat or cure COVID-19 at drugalert@health.gov.bz or 828-4489 or 828-4445. The Ministry will ensure that the incoming complaints are addressed and will continue to monitor the market on these unauthorized products.
